Getting 2014 Salsa bikes in, they have updated the geometry and parts spec and they are looking sweet!

The El Mar Single Speed for $1399.

And the El Mar 2 for $2299.

Salsa Fat Bike Full Squish Prototype!

So one of the great things about going to nerdy bike industry events is seeing new products and ideas. Just back from Frostbike in Minneapolis and got a chance to see this bad boy in person. Wow!

Salsa Selma, can you say upgrade?

So, I'm finally getting motivated for more offroad fun in my life. Been riding a Surly Karate Monkey for 6 years or so, and it has been a great bike for my infrequent adventures into the Forrest. I have decided this is the year I was ready to take the bull by the horns. I knew I was gonna need a squish fork to help my cause as my thumb is still a little sensitive after my incident last december.
Long story short, I have a new mountain bike. And my Monkey is going to a great new home, and will likely get some serious shredding.
Sunday is her maiden voyage, wish me luck!
