Peacock Groove: The Jury!

So Erik Noren from Peacock Groove in Minneapolis, Mn. posted this idea he has to do 12 CUSTOM track frames for $1200. He is an amazing individual and a kickass frame builder, I am stoked at the opportunity to get a custom frame from him and for that price you cant beat it. But he is not going to do it unless he gets 12 orders, it's all or nothing. Check out some of his pieces from last years NAHBS. Give him a shout and get yours ordered TODAY!

Manhattan, yep it's been one of those days...

Made For Hank.

As long as I'm digging through my old photos, I wanted to share this one with you. Simply inspired by her old Schwinn, Katie Henry commissioned this classy Surly Steamroller. Built around the Civia Loring Bamboo front rack, complimented by a Brooks Flyer "S" in Honey, PDW Leather grips with Some Rivendell Ruffy Tuffy Skinwall tires, and finished off with some Nitto Promenade Handlebars and a Coaster brake. Katie hauls her Handmade goodies to the post office in style!

Riveting!

If you have ever ridden a Brooks saddle and broken one in, you know how lovely it is to have a custom fitted saddle to your very own butt. Sometimes things go south and you snap a rail on your beloved friend. You have been through so much together, you don't want to give up on it now. The beauty of the Brooks is the repairability. As demonstrated above, with a new rail, rivets and a hammer you can reincarnate your broken saddle. I loved my first Professional, after I broke it in, until the rail snapped. I repaired it and it lives again on my new Affinity LoPro!

Speaking of Saddles...

Forgot I had this one hanging out. Brooks did a series on limited edition saddles for different cities. This one is to commemorate the Polo World Championships here in Philly this summer. Special Red Leather, embossed and numbered edition.
